In this post I thought it would be interesting to investigate the differences between the official Xbox Instagram account and the Xbox Twitter account. Since Xbox shares some of their tweets through their Instagram accounts I thought it would be good to investigate. I would assume posting tweets to their Instagram would prompt fans to go out and follow them on Twitter. On the Twitter account they put a lot more effect into the language being used compared to on Instagram where it’s very short and straight to the point with maybe a hashtag or two at the end. An example of one of their Twitter posts is “9 out of 10 Xboxes love this sale. The 10 th was on a killstreak, so we didn’t want to interrupt.” This post is about a current sale they have running on the Xbox store featuring games that are up to 75% off.
